Building Project
Gordon Baptist Church has commenced construction of new facilities at 1 Garden Square.
These works involve the renovation of the existing house that will include two meeting spaces and amenities, and the addition of a new multi-purpose hall with a capacity for 80 people. This will open out to, and be integrated with, a new outdoor area that is suitable for social gatherings and other activities. The project also includes the landscaping of outdoor areas and energy sustainability initiatives such as solar power and water retention and reuse.
This is an exciting new opportunity for the church to enhance its overall facilities and provide new ways to serve the church and the local community.
When we give to the building project, we are not just giving to the four walls of our church, but we are sowing into the vision, activity and lives of many people that will be possible though the use of the new facilities.
We are seeking to raise up to $2M through donations and interest-free loans from members.

1 Garden Square: The work commences
Gordon Baptist Church has commenced construction of new facilities at 1 Garden Square. We are so thankful for what God has done to enable the purchase of the property with no residual debt.
After a lot of planning and design work we can now see that the construction is underway and look forward to the completion of the building project during the latter half of 2022.
